The Hankook W310 I cept evo is a specific cold weather tire that offers superb winter performance. Traction and handling on snow, ice, slush, rain and dry is excellent. Deep snow traction could be a little better, as could be cornering power at higher temps, but it is still more than adequate. Ride comfort is among best in class.

These Hankook iPikes do not seem to get the attention that snow tires like the X-Ice, Blizzak and others get, but this is an excellent performing winter tire. The grip on all types of road surfaces is as good as other leading competitor tires, and ride comfort is equally as impressive.
The prices on this Hankook model are lower than other competitors and when you look at overall performance, this tire provides excellent value for the money spent.

An inexpensive tire that works above its price category. These tires are strictly meant for snow and casual driving. Traction and grip on wet, snow and ice covered road surfaces is exceptional, and arguably the best in deep snow of any brand of winter tire. The tire flat out performs in any type of winter weather conditions. On the highway, you’d expect these tires to be a bit noisy due to their tread design and rubber compound, but as far as winter tires go, they’re still on the quiet side.

The original Sottozero winter tires are one of the better models available, but this new Serie II is arguably even better in some areas. Traction and grip on the snow and ice will not disappoint you. About the only place the two models are different is in deep, heavy snow. The originals provide just a bit more traction.
Driving on wet or dry pavement is another area that this tire shines. Ride comfort is excellent on this tire. It's smooth and road noise is not excessive. Treadlife is outstanding on this model.

The Xi3 has further increased the traction and handling of the Xi2 by delivering even greater traction and grip on dry and wet surfaces with this model. Snow and ice performance is amazing. The tire doesn't slide around on you in snow, hard packed snow, slush, freezing rain and ice unless you get ridiculous with it.
Ride quality is what you would expect from a Michelin tire...smooth and comfortable. Road noise is nearly non-existent on this tire, which cannot be said for many winter tires. The tread lasts very well, making this an excellent value.

Bridgestone Blizzak WS70



Without wasting time we can only say that the Bridgestone Blizzaks are simply the best winter tires on the market today. They take on the harshest weather and road conditions that you can find, and never let you down. Sure, they are expensive to a degree, but for the quality and performance you'll get, the value is outstanding. Highly recommended.
