Some friends and family have gotten the full impact of it in the last

I stopped at Office Depot today and bought a CanoScan LiDE 90
scanner.  For months now I\'ve been wanting a simple scanner for my
% [, R0 r) Y, v3 n6 C2 Lslides and photos. Every other place I went to, like Wal*Mart and
5 G( J9 m8 |# R  o2 FTarget, only sold the printer/copier/fax/scanner units.  I already own
/ [- X4 _/ p/ A7 {all of that except for the scanner and wasn\'t about to spend hundreds
; T8 M! A2 W1 [/ z3 B4 Zof dollars for more than I need.

This scanner costing under $80 does a great job on my photos, even the
* D0 j# c) S: ?8 _+ L% Pones of me as a baby.  My slides of astronomical art by Morris Scott
. x) Z+ `  x, F2 A  O: e: ^Dollens come out okay even after collecting dust for decades.  I
" _& {. ^& S' Ashould be kept busy for days scanning all the photos I\'ve saved over
the years in an old suitcase.  Now if I could only figure out who all
# O9 B8 H  X$ Z( q, Othose people in really old photos are!
