Thames Valley district schools closed today
: v( g- n! ?$ e4 {6 n) y5 B1 ~Monday, Dec. 6, 2010 – Due to the winter storm, the Thames Valley District School Board has closed all schools today in London, Middlesex County including Strathroy-Caradoc, Oxford County including Woodstock, and Elgin County including Aylmer and St. Thomas. All Board offices, including Adult, Alternative and Continuing Education sites, are also closed.

Director of Education Bill Tucker has asked all students and staff to remain at home.

University remains open

The University of Western Ontario remains open at this time and classes are continuing.  City plows have been cleaning major streets and some side streets; LTC buses are running; and University parking lots have been plowed. While the University remains open, please use discretion when travelling and to and from campus.  The University is continuing to monitor the weather and will post any updates on the home page (www.uwo.ca) and Western’s official Facebook and Twitter pages.
